The model SB2900 has been specially designed for the application
of conformal coatings to Printed Circuit Assemblies (PCAs) by batch
spraying. It features an ergonomic design to minimise operator fatigue,
while providing greater control of the spray gun position and direction.
This limits overspray and unnecessary material wastage.
The SB2900 can be equipped with explosion-proof UV light and/or
white light and employs a hands-free, rotating table for total 360º
visual inspection.
The spray chamber also has a restricted opening and downward
extraction plenum chamber, thus limiting operator exposure to solvent
vapour. To ensure optimum filtration efficiency, the primary, secondary
and tertiary filters are all easily replaceable.
A standard 10 litre pressure pot feed system can be supplied with
pre-blended material to minimise filling downtime, along with semiautomatic purging and cleaning of the sprayhead.
Also optional is a foot operated pneumatic control for automated four
quadrant positioning of the turntable.
An integrated storage space beneath the booth is provided for
material and purging solvent pressure pots, the spray gun and face
masks, etc

    The VPX-2KS Dual Component Spray Valve is a progressive cavity metering valve capable of accurately spraying 2K chemistries in a clean, flexible atomized process.

    Each component is metered via a servo controlled rotor that seals a rubberized stator to produce a continuous flow of material.  Tight tolerance on the sealing mechanism assures pulse-free and drip-free operation, even with low viscosity fluids.  As each component is metered in separate chambers, no routine flushing or purging is necessary as the chemistry will not crystallize in the fluid body.

    The SMART DISPENSE 06 is a professional dispenser for manual applications that require high accuracy and repeatability. These dispensers also allow heating the dispensing nozzle. The all-electronic dispensers use dispensing recipes for storing the application parameter. Thus, the dispensing pressure and the nozzle temperature are automatically set as specified after selection of the recipe. A temperature sensor inside the dispensing pen measures the cartridge temperature. The SMART DISPENSE 06 control unit compensates viscositychange dependent on the material and determines the optimum parameter to guarantee a stable dispensing result. The dispensing recipes can easily be adjusted to new materials and applications, which provides maximum process control to the user. Temperature insulated dispensing pens are available for common cartridge sizes in order to avoid material heating when dispensing by the user. In use of high viscous material viscosity-setting is possible by means of an optional integrated nozzle heater inside the dispensing pen. 1K material from liquid to pasty can also be processed reliably. In use of low viscous material formation of drops on the dispensing needle is avoided by means of manual retain vacuum. Dispensing programs are created, optimized and managed well-arranged on the PC using the software CLEVER DISPENSE Pro.

    The CLEVER DISPENSE 06 is a professional dispenser for applications that require highest accuracy and a maximum control of material viscosity. These dispensers allow heating of the dispensing nozzle and cartridge. The CLEVER DISPENSE 06 H DP Sets are designed for manual dispensing operations. The all-electronic dispensers whose dispensing pressure, temperature and retain vacuum are program-controlled use the time-pressure-technology.     The coating system BASIC V3 was designed for coating assemblies. The assemblies are put in a basket which is dipped in the HFE solvent. After the coating, draining and drying are processed automatically. At the end of the process the basket is lifted up and the coated assemblies can be removed.

    Features:

    • HFE liquid condenses and remains in the system

    As an option, the BASIC V3 can be equipped with a filter system.

    Another option includes an automated measuring and dosing station to keep the HFE solvent level constant

    The coating systems PRIMA V8 and OPTIMA V6 are specially designed for processing volatile substances such as HFE.

    Great emphasis was placed on the process reliability and easy use. The assemblies’ coating is done by immersion in the fluoropolymer HFE solvent contained in the system’s tank. The assemblies to be coated are put in baskets placed on a lift. Both coating systems PRIMA V8 and OPTIMA V6 differ in the basket size.

     

    By closing the lid and pressing the start button the immersion or dipping process and the subsequent drying process are automatically carried out within approximately 6 minutes.

    Once the notification of completion appeared the basket can be simply exchanged. The baskets can be adapted easily to the assembly’s geometry or can be substituted with customized racks.

    All coating systems are equipped with a cold trap for the HFE liquid recovery where the condensed HFE liquid can be collected in a built-in container or be returned in the tank. This provides for an extremely economic and environmentally friendly operation. A water trap absorbs the produced condensation in another collective container. Thus, the systems are compliant with legal HFE liquids regulations.

     

    The color screen shows all information and is easy to adjust. The systems are equipped with filters for cleaning the HFE liquid. The liquid level is controlled. The lift can be set in any position automatically to allow exact partial immersion. The control interfaces provide for data output.

    These coating system models offer a suitable solution for nearly all challenges.
